Uwell Caliburn Review: The New Innovative Pod System

The Uwell Caliburn has been the talk of the vaping industry and for good reason. This device has unique features and is raising the bar for pod systems that will have you experience vaping on a whole other level. 

Coil

The pod itself is a 2ml e-juice capacity cartridge with Uwell's own Pro-FOCS coil that resembles a cartomizer or tank coil with its stainless steel wire in a parallel build. This special kind of coil allows maximum flavor for any, that's right ANY, kind of juice. Whether it's free base or nicotine salts, the Caliburn will not fall short on providing excellent flavor and more cloud production than typical pod systems. The resistance of the coils are 1.4ohm and a fixed wattage cap of 11 watts. 

Pod

The Caliburn focuses on user-friendly features that allows less maintenance while being durable. Uwell Caliburn makes a small but well-appreciated detail with the magnetic pod that assembles sturdily onto the cell. The mouthpiece comes apart from the top that also acts as the port cover for the pod. Unlike most devices that have the fill port on the bottom, the Caliburn pods are a lot less prone to leaking and damaging the device-- which we all know is a pain in the butt.

Cell

With an aluminum alloy build, the cell is a sleek and thin design that makes it portable and lightweight at just under 30g. The most distinctive feature of the Caliburn is the ability to be draw activated AND a physical button for manual firing .There is a new technology on the cell that automatically revert to manual operations if the chip detects a problem with the auto-draw system. Under the button is an LED that indicates battery life (green- over 60%, blue - 30%, red- under 30%).

Battery

The USB port of charging the 520mAh battery is located on the bottom of the device that only takes about 30 minutes to recharge! Depending on usage, the pod system can last up to a day and only takes a fraction of time to recharge! No more dead devices or waiting for almost an hour to bring it back to life. The Caliburn truly is a vape in its own level.
